Hogarths Stone Manor Wedding Photography

It is always a lot of fun being a wedding photographer at venues that I have not been to before. Finding those new places to get some cool photos as well as trying something a little bit different will never be something that I could turn down, so I was delighted to be invited along to help photograph Hannah & Matt’s Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor in Kidderminster, Worcestershire – a Tudor-style luxury hotel that is on the doorstep of rolling hills of rural Worcestershire.

That morning, we caught up with Hannah and her Bridal squad at Hogarths Stone Manor to photograph the Bridal Prep as they were getting pampered for the wedding. As the girls enjoyed the atmosphere and build up of the morning, I had already eyed up a bit of a creative photo that I wanted to take before we all made our way to the church. Just as we were about to leave, I got the photograph I wanted and away we went off to St. Cassian’s Church in Chaddesley Corbett.

At the church, Matt was ready and awaiting for his Bride to walk down the aisle and once Hannah had arrived (thanks to some impressive traffic control from one of the Bridesmaids), we went on to enjoy one of the most entertaining wedding ceremony’s that I’ve ever been a photographer for. The Priest was fantastic and there was a moment or two where the kids may have stolen the show a bit.

After we rushed back to Hogarths Stone Manor, Hannah & Matt’s guests all enjoyed canapés and drinks while we took a wander around the grounds to photograph some portraits. This venue really does have some lovely grounds with a plethora of options to take photos and I think this really shows in the photos.

The speeches followed the three-course meal before the big party in the evening, with the tunes being spun by Paul from Blue Diamond Entertainment. I do like a good party, so we hung around for a while to collect photographic evidence of what was, quite frankly, the most criminal examples of dodgy dancing that I have ever seen!

Big thanks to Hannah & Matt for such a great day and, of course, a big shout out to Mat James Photography for inviting me to tag along as second photographer. It’s been nice to look back at the photos of this wedding, especially during these weeks of lockdown and I hope that you enjoy them too. Of course, the slideshow is there for you to enjoy and since most of us are now working from home, I think that you should crank the sound up and watch said slideshow while you wash your hands, ya filthy animals!

And when you’re done washing your hands, if you’re looking for a Photographer for your Wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, then drop me a message to see if I’m available to document your day.
